AxisPointe Awarded 2015 Innovation Award

SAN DIEGO - June 5, 2015 - PRLog -- San Diego, CA--The 2015 PCBC Builder's Show has announced the winners of its POP Innovation Award just ahead of what is hoped to be the largest Builder Show on the west coast in many years.  AxisPointe won for its InSite Mobile smart phone application, and was the only software product to earn this coveted distinction.

The InSite Mobile app helps builders manage the quality and efficiency of their construction operations, and utilizing metrics called checkpoints, it assists field users to identify and eliminate construction errors and defects.

InSite Mobile allows users to track construction using the same task-based processes builders already use. As a task is selected, checkpoint statements are presented and answered to verify the quality.  Up to 20 digital photos can accompany every answer, and checkpoints can have unlimited answers and multiple users for any sized project.

"I particularly love the ability to watch construction as it is happening in real time with our InSite Query dashboard," Luhr said, adding that users can see the photos and info streaming into the portal and can respond to issues without ever having to be onsite.

AxisPointe is providing QA services for the massive Metropolis Tower condo project in Los Angeles, and has secured contracts in high-rise and production buidler sites in several states.  Even custom home builders building one home are able to afford the system and get huge benefits, Luhr said.

AxisPointe will be demonstrating its technologies at the PCBC Show in San Diego, which will have a convention floor packed with vendors June 24-25.
