By: AxisPointe The InSite Mobile app helps builders manage the quality and efficiency of their construction operations, and utilizing metrics called checkpoints, it assists field users to identify and eliminate construction errors and defects. "It is like having a forensic expert sitting on your shoulder, said Stan Luhr, AxisPointe's CEO and inventor of risk programs since 1994. Luhr, who has been a builder and forensic expert on over 6,000 claims, built the mobile app to leverage this litigation experience into a positive learning tool. "Insurers have paid out billions of dollars in claims, yet they rarely share these experiences to their own clients who should be improving their processes," Luhr said. "InSite Mobile delivers these best practices and focuses energy on risks so builders can rapidly improve--all using the same staff and without added costs." "We all know that construction is often chaotic and places huge demands on the builder's team," Luhr said. "The InSite Mobile tool helps control that chaos. I am so proud of our team, who have worked tirelessly to deliver this tool for builders." InSite Mobile allows users to track construction using the same task-based processes builders already use. As a task is selected, checkpoint statements are presented and answered to verify the quality. Up to 20 digital photos can accompany every answer, and checkpoints can have unlimited answers and multiple users for any sized project. "I particularly love the ability to watch construction as it is happening in real time with our InSite Query dashboard," Luhr said, adding that users can see the photos and info streaming into the portal and can respond to issues without ever having to be onsite. AxisPointe is providing QA services for the massive Metropolis Tower condo project in Los Angeles, and has secured contracts in high-rise and production buidler sites in several states. Even custom home builders building one home are able to afford the system and get huge benefits, Luhr said. AxisPointe will be demonstrating its technologies at the PCBC Show in San Diego, which will have a convention floor packed with vendors June 24-25. It is expected to be the largest builder show in the west in several years. AxisPointe is providing a special link for builders to have free access to the trade show floor by visiting their website at www.AxisPointe.com End
