Follow on Google News | International College of Surgeons Invites Dr. Politis to Speak about the Carpal RxMaggie Kearney, International College of Surgeons, announced the invitation of Dr. Michael Politis at their next conference. Dr. Politis will present his findings about the effectiveness of Carpal Rx in treating patients with carpal tunnel syndrome.
Even though there is no cure for carpal tunnel syndrome, Dr. Politis’s research shows that its symptoms can be effectively relieved by using the Carpal Rx. It is widely recognized that the most effective management technique is known as myofascial release massage, and this is what the Carpal Rx does automatically. Myofascial release massage therapy must be expertly performed daily for about 4 weeks to eliminate symptoms completely. But obviously, visiting an expert like a physical therapist or massage therapist every day to have this treatment is expensive. Yet this precise therapy is what the Carpal Rx device gives to patients at home, and it has been the focus of Dr. Politis’s research since 2012. In his medical presentation at the conference entitled "Long-Term Effectiveness of a Non-surgical Treatment for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome", Dr. Politis’s research concluded that the Carpal Rx effectively treats this debilitating condition because it provides myofascial release massage every day. Without the need of an expert therapist, Dr. Politis highlighted that using Carpal Rx is not only effective but also inexpensive. And the results of using Carpal Rx are long lasting. Dr. Politis said, “We know that carpal tunnel surgery simply doesn’t work in most cases. Getting satisfying results with surgery is a poor gamble, and also an expensive one. Modern medicine has sorely needed an answer like the Carpal Rx.” This therapy for carpal tunnel syndrome has been studied by several clinics, who consider the Carpal Rx as the answer needed for this worldwide problem. Dr. Politis has been the leader in this effort since the inception of the device by Carpal Pain Solutions, Inc. of Palm City, Florida (USA). Nicole Zanakis, CEO of Carpal Pain Solutions, Inc., said, "Until [Dr. Politis’s] Dr. Politis said, “Our studies show the effects of Carpal Rx can last for years or even be permanent. This is something every clinician needs to know because the days of indiscriminate carpal tunnel surgery must end right now." The 77th Annual Surgical Update of the International College of Surgeons Section and the 39th Annual Scientific Update of the American Academy of Neurological and Orthopaedic Surgeons will be held June 11-13, 2015 in Annapolis Maryland.
