Boomers! Blasts Into Houston With Grand Opening Weekend

HOUSTON - June 8, 2015 - PRLog -- The media and public are invited to attend the free, official grand opening event on June 12 and 13. The first 100 guests to enter the park on Friday and Saturday will receive a free goody bag of Boomers! and Pepsi merchandise. Highlights of the weekend include: Ribbon Cutting ceremony, prize giveaways, a bounce house for kids and free blood pressure checks by First Choice Emergency, a DJ, free popcorn and fried Oreos, and more. The refreshed arcade building features an expanded café counter and they’ve doubled the seating capacity. There’s now a sports bar-style counter, with stools and multiple televisions. The company has applied for a license to serve a selection of beer and wine to adult guests. There is brand new carpeting throughout the arcade, all new games, and a refreshed look for the indoor party and meeting room. In addition to the newly remodeled interior, Boomers! is also introducing a ticket-free, token-free card system for attractions and games. Free parking and free admission will continue to give guests the freedom to decide how long to stay and how much to pay. Boomers! will continue to offer a great value for indoor and outdoor family fun in Houston; with Go Karts, Bumper Boats, two Miniature Golf courses, Batting Cages, and some hot, new video and prize games.

In September 2014, California-based Apex Parks Group purchased the Mountasia location and made immediate improvement by restoring the mountain waterfall; an icon in the midst of the two miniature golf courses.
