25 year old Jonathan Shropshier gives his testimony of salvation on A Matter of Interpretation

DETROIT - June 12, 2015 - PRLog -- Like many teens, Jonathan Shropshier had some discipliary and academic issues during elementary shool. An altercation with a teacher led to suspension in the sixth grade. His challenges continued throughout high school and eventually he was forced to repeat the 10th grade. During this period he suffered from depression, isolation and low self esteem.

Two factors helped Jonathan turn his life around. He was offered the opportunity to work for Central Detroit Christian(CDC) and he received the message of Salvation.

It was the forming of a relationship with God that helped him know who he was in Christ. It lifted his self estem and as he grew in the word he began to minister to other youth.

Our mission is that through Education, Employment and Economic Development, Central Detroit Christian CDC strives to transform individuals to reach their highest potential while transforming the community to be a place of Shalom."

Jonathan has worked with the CDC in many capacities including Day Camp, and Education.

He is also a member of EPIC which is a group of 100 Youths which minister the message of salvation to the Detroit population.
