By: Continental Motors Participants in this year’s event can look forward to a fast-paced, unique racing experience and an opportunity to help transform lives. For almost 30 years, DuPagePads has provided people who are homeless with housing, support services and employment. The Drive For 75 will support these key programs, helping people obtain stable housing and rebuild their lives. “The teams are competitive on the course but even more so in their fundraising for DuPagePads. At the end of race day, everyone will walk away a little tired but more importantly, proud of what their efforts have accomplished for this organization and those they serve,” says Joel Weinberger, who also serves as DuPagePads Board Vice Chair. Joining Weinberger this year will be his two sons, Kellan (17) and Aidan (19). “I’m excited to have my boys driving with me. It’s not only a chance for some family fun, but they also learn about giving back as well,” commented Mr. Weinberger. Each and every team is asked to give their all in helping achieve the $75,000 goal. Racing advantages will be given to top fundraising teams and participants! *** DuPagePads, founded in 1985, is the largest provider of services to those who are homeless in DuPage County.
