MSA Receives Non-Profit Approval by the IRS Following the Recent Announcement of the Upcoming MSA Conference

ATLANTA - June 16, 2015 - PRLog -- Following on the recent announcement of their first Annual convention, MSA received official word from the IRS regarding their 501 (c) 6 non- profit status. Formed in 2013, the Mobile Shredding Association (http://www.mobileshreddingassociation.com/) began its bid to become a non-profit association early on in 2014 when they successfully converted to a 501 (c) 6 corporation at the State level. The recent approval with the IRS at the Federal level is the final step in the process.

“The IRS approval could not have come at a more perfect time.” says Trace Hartridge, Executive Director of MSA. “Now that our Non-Profit status is finalized, the member’s ability to vote and be involved with the board are all the more crucial, and current and potential members are invited to our annual conference this Fall to help shape the organization for its next growth phase.” Hartridge continues, “With the recent announcement of more industry consolidation, shredding companies providing mobile shredding need a strong, dedicated, voice in the industry”

MSA will hold its first annual conference at the Embassy Suites in Charlotte, NC on Saturday Oct 10th. The 1 day conference will be a great opportunity for members to participate in the association.
