Legendary Emcee headlines Munchie Cup

DENVER - June 18, 2015 - PRLog -- The Abakus Munchie Cup is coming to Green Labs in Denver!

Abakus is a media and event company founded by Steven Hager, longtime editor of High Times and the man who created the Cannabis Cup. The company stages several events each year and is currently working on a comprehensive directory of all cannabis companies in Colorado. Their biggest annual event is the Munchie Cup, which celebrates the edible industry. Last year's Munchie Cup was held in Aspen at the exculsive Gant resort, but this year, it moves to Denver.

Incredibles is the primary sponsor of the event, but are joined by Altitude Organic Medicine, Vaped Goodz, and Weedtees, all of whom will be exhibiting at the Munchie Cup expo.

Bill Levin, founder of the First Church of Cannabis, is one of the celebrity judges and will be giving the keynote opening address at 4:20 PM on Friday, July 24. Levin is also holding a press conference earlier in the day at 1 PM. Accredited media is urged to contact Jessica Waters PR for admission to this meet and greet with Levin, who will be visiting Colorado for the first time since cannabis was legalized.

A Judge's Pass to the Munchie  Cup is $30 and available on the Abakus website (www.abakusmagazine.com). The pass includes admission to all seminars, concerts and ceremonies for three days and nights, as well as the right to vote. Although no cannabis will be distributed at the event, the entries will be available at the local dispensaries.
