NEW YORK - June 19, 2015 - PRLog -- Grandmaster Caz is coming to the Abakus Munchie Cup in Denver, Colorado, to unveil his campaign theme song and announce his candidacy for President of the United States. He is a true representative of the people who will bring attention to the problems that plague America and offer real solutions. Caz supports legalization of marijuana worldwide and release of all non-violent marijuana offenders. He is deeply concerned about the incarceration rate of young minority teens, as well as police and terrorist violence against people of color. Other campaign platforms are expected to be unveiled at his press conference on Saturday, July 25th at Green Labs.

Caz grew up in the South Bronx in the 1970s and became one of the original b-boy break dancers attending the first Hip Hop parties thrown by Kool Herc and Coke La  Rock. He soon became a master deejay, and then a groundbreaking emcee. He is considered one of the top three emcees from the original generation (the others being Melle Mel and Kool Mo Dee).

Since Hip Hop was created by high school kids living in what was considered one of the worst ghettos in America, the culture is a shining example of how great things can be accomplished by teenagers with few resources. However, over the last few decades, Hip Hop has increasingly taken a turn in the wrong direction, glorifying violence and abusive behavior. In the beginning, however, Hip Hop was about peace, unity and having fun. Caz wants to bring that spirit back to Hip Hop and back to America.

Caz will be performing on Saturday night at Green Labs. Tickets to the event are $30 for all three days and nights, or $15 per day at the door. The Munchie Cup also includes an expo. Incredibles, Weedtees, The Shaman Shop, Abakus, and the Smoke Shack are among the exhibitors already signed up. If you'd like to reserve a booth at the event for your cannabis company contact 802-753-7396.

All accredited media representative are encouraged to attend the press conference which will include a meet and greet and photo opportunities. Contact Jessica Waters Public Relations for more information.
