Blue Ridge Harley-Davidson® Poker Run Supports Muscular Dystrophy Association

HICKORY, N.C. - June 22, 2015 - PRLog -- Blue Ridge Harley-Davidson is proud to host the Red, White & Boom! Poker Run on June 27 to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). This will be their second largest ride of the season.

Registration for the run will open at 9:30 a.m. and the last bike will leave by 11 a.m. All bikes are expected to return by 3:00 p.m. The cost to register is $20 per biker, $10 per passenger and $10 for each additional hand. The proceeds of the run will help send six children with neuromuscular disease to the MDA Summer Camp. There will be a $500 prize for best poker hand and a $100 prize for second best and worst hand. There will also be 50/50 raffles and Mitch Clark will provide live music.  Free burgers and hot dogs after the run will be provided.

The MDA camp provides a safe outdoor experience for children with muscular diseases. The children are given the opportunity to participate in activities that can boost self-esteem and self-confidence, build friendships and allow children to enjoy a week where their physical disabilities don’t make them different. Let’s come together and help send six kids to camp!
