2015 Carolina Music Awards Event Host Announced

RALEIGH, N.C. - June 24, 2015 - PRLog -- It’s not easy finding just the right host for the Carolina Music Awards, and finding the perfect host for the inaugural year the Carolina Music Awards is televised? It's a difficult decision, to say the least. Organizers of the Carolina Music Awards have done it again, and brought in Andrea Laing, a veteran of tv production, as the perfect fit.

“As the Carolina Music Awards takes the broad leap into broadcast television, we needed someone with an abundance of stage, tv, film and live event experience,” states Omar McCallop, CEO Award Show Nation, “We felt her experience combined with her bubbly personality made Andrea Laing the best selection.”

This year marks a huge leap for the Carolina Music Awards. Adding both text voting and a live production, artists this year will receive more immediate exposure. Organizers hope these two additions to the process leads to long-term success for both the Carolina Music Awards and the nominated artists. Text voting ends July 3, with winners announced at the show on Jul 18.
