Follow on Google News | NHBC ‘Pride in the Job’ Quality Award for site manager at new Davidsons Byfield developmentMark Horne, site manager at Davidsons Homes new development ‘Foxglove Field’ at Clock Meadow in Byfield, Northamptonshire has just received a Quality Award from the NHBC.
By: Davidsons Homes From an initial pool of around 15,000 site managers across the UK, the judges selected just 450 to receive a Quality Award or Single Home Commendation in the first round of the awards. These winners now go on to compete for the Seals of Excellence and Regional Awards. Mark said “Winning an NHBC ‘Pride in the Job’ award means such a lot as it recognises the ability to consistently manage a site to a very high standard, amongst a quality contested field, in order to meet the exact needs of each NHBC inspection. Every development has its challenges and the demands on a site manager to coordinate trades and materials is paramount. This is not only an award for myself, but recognises the team effort it takes to build homes that I would be happy to move into with my own family. I am proud to be leading such a successful team”. Chay Walker, Davidsons construction director, said “It’s great that Mark’s work has been recognised. This is a new area for us so it’s very pleasing that our first development should receive an award for quality. It is an acknowledgement of the way we do things. Our aim is to build great homes and developments for people to enjoy and always to seek quality”. Davidsons has already received an NHBC award as a company. For the third year in a row it received five stars in the National Home Builders Federation/NHBC customer satisfaction survey - this is the highest rating. ‘Foxglove Field,’ is a select development of just 11 homes with a mixture of three, four and five bedroom properties . A showhome has just opened and three homes have already been sold. The development enjoys a private location just off Clock Meadow with Boddington reservoir nearby. Clock Meadow is off the Boddington Road in Byfield NN11 6LP. For more information visit: www.davidsonsgroup.co.uk or call 07825 299 355. End
