Cosplay Cruises has announced the launch of the worlds first interactive, fully chartered cruise ship for avid Comic Con fans across the globe; a sea-bound fan Concation for all those who love the sci-fi and fantasy worlds.

Celebrating Every Fandom

Imagined first by the Angry Goat Productions creative team in 2012 and brought to the high seas by co-founders Jill and Ray Jelléy, these Cosplay-themed cruises are expected to be the world's largest floating fan convention. Billed as a ‘Concation Getaway’, fans will start off with a spectacular pre-launch fan expo followed by a comic con style adventure at sea. Not only will they set sail to exotic destinations, Cosplay Cruisers will be able to sit in Captain Kirk's chair, take a walk through Middle-earth, and experience meet and  greets with their favorite stars. Proving that it really is more than just a Con…it’s a Concation!!!

Special Fan Pavilion Areas

Global fanboys and fangirls will delight in the special interactive pavilions created on board the ship. Cosplay Cruises celebrates not just one, but all fandoms, by producing interactive tributes to the Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Firefly, Doctor Who, Star Trek, Harry Potter, the Walking Dead, Arrow, Outlander, and the Hunger Games to name a few. If that wasn’t enough, there will even be a fully functioning Quidditch Pitch built right on top of the ship!

Costs, Exotic Destinations, Guests Appearing

Unlike land conventions, every Cosplay Cruise fare includes not only accommodation, but also all meals, choosing from 2 main dining rooms, buffets, and a variety of casual cafés, grills, and a 24 hour Irish Pub. In total there are 12 restaurants and 11 bars. One of the ships even has a bowling alley! Cruises depart from Los Angeles for two sailings to Ensenada, Mexico April 10th-13th and 13th-17th, 2016.  A special New York sailing to a private island in the Bahamas takes place September 10th-17th, 2016. Future sailing dates from London, Hong Kong, and Singapore are expected to be announced later this year.
