Dr. Douglas Stevens Joins Physician Advisory Council as Expert Trainer

FORT MYERS, Fla. - July 7, 2015 - PRLog -- Dr. Douglas Stevens of Douglas M. Stevens, MD, Facial Plastic and Laser Center, has joined the Suneva Medical Physicians Advisory Council (PAC). Under the PAC contract, Dr. Stevens is a designated expert in his field, training other physicians in Bellafill^® cosmetic injections.

As a Bellafill^® Cosmetic Injector Trainer, Dr. Stevens has treated a specified number of patients and undergone instructor training. He will be called upon to participate in speaking engagements, answer physician and patient questions, as well as train other doctors in best practices by sharing his knowledge and calling upon his experience.

ABOUT DOUGLAS M. STEVENS, MD

Dr. Stevens has been in Fort Myers for over 15 years. He is double board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. He is past president of the Lee County Medical Association, a member and past delegate to the Florida Medical Association, a past member of the credentialing committee of the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.  He is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.), the Albany Medical College and did his training at the Bethesda Naval Hospital. He is the former chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the Great Lakes Naval Hospital and served 12 years in the United States Navy.
