Fine Artist, Tanya Lozano selected by Sundance Cinemas via StudioVox for Gallery Exhibition

LOS ANGELES - July 20, 2015 - PRLog -- Fine Art Painter, Tanya Lozano was selected by Sundance Cinemas Gallery of Robert Redford's Sundance Group for an exclusive exhibition at their Sundance Cinema Gallery in Los Angeles, CA.  The artist’s work was chosen from a group of local artists who submitted their work for consideration to Sundance via an exclusive partnership with StudioVox.

Lozano’s exhibition entitled "Prismatic Influence" runs from July 10th through October 2015.  Lozano who describes herself as an "expressionist painter" interweaves her freedom of expression with vibrant color.  According to Lozano, “the exhibit embodies principals of proportion, balance and strength of center with a feeling of dancing rhythm entwined.”

Lozano express herself with vibrant hues and dramatic textures. Each piece is led by the colors  “I visualize the composition and then make a quick sketch of it,” she says. “Once that is established, I begin the process of layering and combining the colors. I get lost and let my creativity lead me. Once I feel the piece is balanced, I leave it hanging on the wall and add more detail each day until I feel it’s complete. It’s always about light and dark, and how they play off one another,” says Lazano.

Sundance Cinemas VP of Marketing and Gallery Curator, Nancy Gribler sees Lozano’s work as a wonderful representation of Los Angeles where it will be showcased.  “Tanya’s work is the epitome of looking at Los Angeles through fragmented glasses. Her colors evoke the early morning sunrise before the day starts banging your senses, the calm of the ocean and the light that we all love in California.
