 Ford F-150 Earns Highest Truck Score Ever in Autopacific AwardsIn the 2015 Autopacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards the latest 2015 Ford F-150 earned the highest scores ever for a truck.
By: Lake Shore Ford “In many cases, an extremely satisfying vehicle is not the car or truck that has the best absolute build quality or the best safety rating,” said George Peterson, the president of Autopacific, in a press release. “VSAs look at the big picture, which includes owners’ experiences with their vehicle’s quality and safety, but also goes deeper into the heart of the ownership experience.” The Autopacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards measure how satisfied drivers are with their vehicles, by gathering responses from 66,000 owners of the 2015 model year cars and trucks. This gives the organization a huge sample of data in order to compare real-world owner satisfaction. Owners are asked to rank vehicles on over 50 criteria, so that Autopacific is able to compare vehicle quality accurately. In a statement Ford said that, “The 2015 Ford F-150 – with best-in-class towing, payload and EPA-estimated gasoline fuel economy, along with the government’s top five-star crash test rating for every cab configuration – won the Vehicle Satisfaction Award for light-duty pickups with the second-highest owner score ever recorded by AutoPacific and the highest rating ever for a truck.” The Ford F-150 has been the best selling vehicle in the United States for decades, and continues to innovate by providing advanced technology and engineering.
