Medical Credentialing Company Launches in St. Augustine

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - July 23, 2015 - PRLog -- Krista Candlish is pleased to announce that she has launched First Coast Credentialing Services, a medical credentialing service for insurance enrollment and medical staff privileges.

“After working in the medical administration field, I’ve seen how time consuming the credentialing process can be, especially when you are trying to handle the daily “fires” that come up in a medical office.  Medical practices these days are limited on their staffing which, for many reasons, slows the credentialing process down which keeps them from participating as quickly as they would like,” Candlish said. “I’m excited about working to help providers and administrators save time, which in-turn saves them money, during this process,” she added.

Candlish started in the medical practice field in a hospital setting in 2001. She was the assistant to the Medical Director and Human Resource Director at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia. She organized and handled the re-credentialing paperwork process for all physicians and allied health staff. After Krista left the Tifton area and moved to Jacksonville, she worked for Internal Medical Group, Inc. (IMG). At IMG, she handled HR functions and accounting duties including the Medical Staff Credentialing for the seven provider group. After approximately five years, she left what became Internal Medical Group, Inc. – Baptist Primary Care for 21st Century Oncology where she worked with the Administrative team to improve the front desk processes and minimize the error ratios in all Jacksonville offices. She also handled accounts payable for the Jacksonville offices and the credentialing for all 21^st Century providers that serviced the Jacksonville area. Krista then became the Supervisor of Business Operations and managed Human Resources and Accounting for Medimix Specialty Pharmacy.  From there, she became the Practice Administrator for Health Park Podiatric.

First Coast Credentialing offers government enrollments, revalidation, reassignment and private healthcare plan enrollment. They also offer medical staff privilege enrollment, NPI registration, and CAQH Management.  Outsourcing allows providers to participate sooner, by not having to complete multiple applications with redundant information saving them time and staffing to manage it.  The database allows them to map their information to any application while also housing their documents in a safe place year after year.
