Huntsville, AL, July 27, 2015: The Board of Directors of Qualis Corporation announces the naming of Roderick B. Duke to the Qualis Board of Directors and to the position of President of Qualis Corporation effective August 1, 2015. Duke joined Qualis as Executive Vice President in March 2013, following notable success in executive positions with MCR Federal, LLC; Analytical Services, Inc.; and MEVATEC Corporation.

After twenty-two years as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President of Qualis, Elizabeth Morard, a founder, will continue as CEO and Board Chair.  “Rod’s personality and management style has folded nicely into the Qualis corporate culture over the last two years. Rod has gained extensive background and experience in leading organizations over his career. He was instrumental in establishing Qualis’ new Missiles and Space Group which has recently won contracts with the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC), PEO Missiles and Space, an Intelligence Agency, NATO, and in the Missile Defense arena. I am confident that Qualis will be even more successful under his leadership as President,” Morard said.

As president, Duke will execute day-to-day management of company operations.  He will also fill the role of acting Chief Financial Officer (CFO) replacing Michael Morard who announced his retirement in July after eight years with Qualis and who will remain a Board member.
