By: The Puppet Forge About VERMIN Vermin is a comedy web series featuring Trace Beaulieu and a cast of puppet rats (supplied by Minneapolis- “This is the same creative team behind (the award winning web series) Transylvania Television,” Beaulieu’s character, one of only three humans in the cast, is a legitimate but harried research scientist unlike his previous role, Dr. Forrester, on Mystery Science Theatre 3000. “Forrester was an inept evil scientist bent on ruling the world,” claims Beaulieu, “I think Sam just wants to make it through his day. He might be a pretty good scientist but he is more than likely a bit burned out and tired of the lab. Unless someone brings him bagels.” The first three episodes of VERMIN Series One are the centerpiece of the Kickstarter campaign. Modest stretch goals will allow the producers to advance through episode seven and conclude Series One also unlocking special additions such as other celebrity cameo appearances. Campaign donors can expect a wide array of incentives for pledging including autographed photos, their very own rat puppet from the same patterns used for the show, and even a lunch date with Trace Beaulieu himself. Other exclusive rewards will include lunch on-set with the cast, lab rat character naming rights, and “associate producer” credits on the series. About Trace Beaulieu Trace Beaulieu was one of the original cast members of Mystery Science Theatre 3000 portraying Dr. Clayton Forrester as well as acerbic Crow T. Robot. He also appeared as Biology Teacher Mr. Lacovara in the hilarious sitcom “Freaks and Geeks”. From 2007 to 2013 he reunited with his MST3K co-stars to “riff” more movies in Cinematic Titanic.
