WOW! I love this magnifying glass. The listing did not do justice to it. Everything component is made with high quality and it is truly worth the price. the glass area is big enough for me to see a wide area of text. I love the little 'inset' or whatever they call it which gives 5x magnifying power. It helps to see few small area I need to focus on. It requires 2AA batteries which is not too bad and the light is bright. The light button has a solid click when pressed down and it is not made with the cheap material. The casing is made from high quality sturdy material. the black handle is made from some kind of soft plastic with slight friction so it does not slip out easily. The opening for the batteries has a hook to the body so when you slide it open, it does not fall out accidentally.

This is one of the rare items where the product beat my expectation in every way.
