GSF Mortgage Welcomes Military Veteran in Virginia

ALEXANDRIA, Va. - Aug. 4, 2015 - PRLog -- GSF Mortgage is pleased to welcome Leon Story as a mortgage loan originator in Alexandria, Virginia. He joins TeamGO with 17 years of mortgage industry experience. Story will work under Stephen Trye, branch manager.

Story was a member of the military for 18 years prior to joining the mortgage industry. He held positions such as military officer and air defense artillery (ADA) and worked with computer systems. In 1998, after exiting the military, Story was looking for a home mortgage and was persuaded to become a loan officer. He was familiar with the process due to owning previous personal residences and rental properties.

Story plans to work with more veterans like himself. GSF Mortgage offers a VA loan, which is one of the only loan programs available to active military and veterans that allows the borrower to finance 100% of the home’s value and purchase with $0 down. He also plans to make more of an impact on the purchase market by leveraging GoGSF’s rates and systems to attract real estate agents.
