“I had the idea after two years of working to bring verified reviews to a specific industry with Vince Matocha, co-founder of Picky™,” said Landon Hobson, Picky™ founder. “We knew the world deserved to have indisputable evidence that the information they were reading in a text review was from a real consumer who actually was in possession of the product or at the place being reviewed. A text review doesn’t supply this evidence and never will, so we planned to solve that problem. Building a platform where the reviews are in video format and requiring the reviewer to show proof that they are a real consumer was the answer. The only other co-founder is my brother, Joshua Hobson, who is a mobile app developer. After we told him the idea and strategy behind the idea, the rest was history. We are self-funded and everything to date was built in-house by the founding team. We knew this idea was the beginning of something big.”
