On August 15, bloggers & social media enthusiasts around the globe are asked to throw their 'Peace Signs Up' by posting songs, quotes, signs, films or photos of Peace.

Sites like BlogDogIt.com, Google groups like Peaceful Society on Earth, Photographers like Rob Goldstein and The Neighborhood Resident Artists & supperters alike have been instrumental in spreading the word via Facebook and Twitter. When asked what would deem the online event a success, Person states without blinking, 'It already is a success. There is no false sense or dreams of grandeur about what we are trying to accomplish. But to see peace signs everywhere, it has to do something. It has to mean something, if only for the moment." A Spontaneous Day of Peace kicks off at 12:01 AM.
