Trumpeter-Vocalist Johnny Britt to Perform at the 2015 Miss Black USA Pageant

WASHINGTON - Aug. 9, 2015 - PRLog -- Trumpeter-Vocalist Johnny Britt is officially set to perform live at the 2015 Miss Black USA pageant live from the District of Columbia. The popular national pageant is set to take place on August 9th, 2015 at the Nation’s Capitol where the 2015 Miss Black USA will be selected and crowned.

Johnny Britt, a gifted singer, producer and musician, will be performing his hit single “Beautiful Queen.” Former Miss Black USA, Kalilah Allen-Harris, will host this year’s live pageant festivities which are set to take place at the University of the District of Columbia.  In addition, the show is scheduled to stream live through the website www.MissBlackUSA.org

A singer, composer and trumpeter whose tone is often compared to Miles Davis, Britt made his initial debut with Motown Records as the lead singer of the popular Hip-hop/Jazz duo Impromp2. As a producer and recording artist, Britt has worked both live and in studio with top musical artists including Jennifer Lopez, David Bowie, Josh Groban, David Bowie, Maxwell, and Luther Vandross. He has received Gold and Platinum status from his work with the Temptations and Boney James.  Britt achieved solo success with his recent hit single, “Beautiful Queen,” featuring Jessy J, best known for her No. 1 Billboard hit, “Hot Sauce.”
