RPA Partners With BUILD Chicago For Summer Internship Program

Aug. 17, 2015 - PRLog -- Retirement Plan Advisors (RPA) recently partnered with BUILD Chicago (Broader Urban Involvement & Leadership Development) to provide a summer employment experience in a professional environment for at-risk youth in Chicago.

On July 13, 2015, RPA welcomed interns from the BUILD program. The six week internship consists of BUILD youths rotating through different work locations to increase their exposure to multiple career paths, types of organizations, and role models. Wages are provided through grant funding.

“The BUILD summer internship program allows us to continue the RPA Promise of committing to the people in our communities,” according to Joshua Schwartz, CEO of Retirement Plan Advisors. “By providing this opportunity, we hope they realize their own potential to contribute to the positive future of Chicago.”

In addition, RPA holds a weekly “Soups and Stories” lunch in which a member of the RPA staff shares his/her own story of achieving success and any obstacles they faced along the way.
