By: The Treedom Group RBL is the UK's leading Armed Forces charity that provides practical, emotional and financial support to all members of the British Armed Forces past and present, and their families. This event allows all riders of varying degrees of ability to have the chance to experience the feeling of a fully supported professional cycling event. Team Cameron’s will have a team member who is visually impaired, but will not use this as an excuse as he believes in this charity. Setting off from London this 460km or 284miles, 4 day route will travel through beautiful English and French countryside. Once in France the ride organisers will coordinate road closures so they are able to cycle from Calais to the heart of Paris safely. A warm welcome from all the French villages and towns they pass through with locals coming out to cheer them on, and the ride culminates in a moving ceremony at the Arc de Triomphe. Cycling up to the Arc is an experience that riders will never forget. The emotions at this point make most people cry with joy, relief the ride is over and to remember why we they have all endured four days of cycling, to raise money for a worthy cause. To support this cycling event The Treedom Group have donated a cycling shirt for Team Cameron’s to wear, the CEO fully supports and believes in the charity. The shirt also displays Plant- A -Tree- Today Foundation (PATT) which the team hope to educate other riders during this event on how PATT takes action against climate change by planting native trees and reforest areas that have been illegally destroyed.
