Bob Holz teams up with guitar great Bob Wolfman on new jazz release

NEW YORK - Aug. 23, 2015 - PRLog -- Drummer,composer and band leader Bob Holz is releasing a new CD this fall. The CD is entitled A Vision Forward and features a cast of noted musical giants including  Boston guitart great Bob Wolfman. Holz and Wolfmand met at Berklee College of Music and have delveoped successful solo careers exporing the world of jazz and blues.Bob Wolfman recently released "Transition" which features Larry Coryell,Victor Bailey and Kenwood Denard.Transition was produced by Larry Coryell.Transition is available for pruchase at Bob Wolfman's official website. His band is also available for select concert and club appearances.

Bob Holz will release his fourth CD, entitled “A Vision Forward,” on October 4th, 2015, in a special concert with guitar legend Larry Coryell.The concert is being held at Mac's Bad Art Bar in Syracuse, NY, and starts at 7PM.Tickets are available at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/2058112. This will be a decidedly more soul fusion format and will feature Holz's polyrhythmic drumming. Joing Bob on this release are guitarists Mike Stern, Larry Coryell and Bob Wolfman, along with trumpeter Randy Brecker and former Dave Weckl Band keyboardist Steve Weingart. Other guests will include Ada Rovatti on sax (John Mclaughlin, Miroslav Vitous) and B3 wiz Billy Steinway( Annie Lenox, Stevie Wonder,Jazz Crusaders).
