Team McGladrey Member Davis Love III Wins Wyndham

CHICAGO - Aug. 24, 2015 - PRLog -- On behalf of McGladrey’s more than 8,000 employees in 80 cities nationwide and RSM International’s employees worldwide, I would like to congratulate Team McGladrey Member (http://mcgladrey.com/content/mcgladrey/en_US/newsroom/golf-partnership/team-mcgladrey.html), The McGladrey Classic Host and 2016 Ryder Cup Captain Davis Love III on his win of the 2015 Wyndham Championship!

Love seized the lead at Sedgefield Sunday as he responded to an opening bogey with three straight birdies and the first of two eagles. He closed with a 6-under 64 for a one-stroke victory over Jason Gore.

Love now has three Wyndham Championship titles on his resume, and a total of 21 victories, including the 1997 PGA Championship. The win also extended Love’s 2014-15 season, as he moved from No. 186 to 76th in the FedExCup standings, and it puts him back in the Masters. The 2015-16 season will be Love’s 30th on TOUR.

We are looking forward to seeing Davis at the 2015 McGladrey Classic at Sea Island in November (Nov. 16-22). This year, we’ll not only be celebrating another year of the tournament (which will be renamed The RSM Classic (http://mcgladrey.com/content/mcgladrey/en_US/newsroom/new...) later this year), but also Davis’ Wyndham Championship and fellow Team McGladrey Member Zach Johnson’s 2015 British Open win.
