8z Real Estate Announces Participation in 2015 Venus de Miles Bike Event

BOULDER, Colo. - Aug. 26, 2015 - PRLog -- 8z Real Estate is excited to participate as a corporate sponsor in the upcoming Venus de Miles bike ride in Boulder, Colo. The bike ride will take place on Saturday August 29, 2015 in Longmont Colorado. The event is a fundraiser for Greenhouse Scholars, a nonprofit organization that supports low-income students beyond a scholarship. The organization supports their scholars to succeed in college, with the programs and mentorship provided.

8z Real Estate is a platinum sponsor providing significant funding for the event. There will also be about a dozen staff members and Realtors volunteering at a rest station along the course, and at the finish area festivities.

At the finish line festival, participants are welcome to relax at the “8z Welcome Home Wagon,” which will be complete with comfortable seating for participants who just finished the ride, 8z blue lemonade, a raffle, and representatives from 8z.

There will also be a group of fifteen cyclists from 8z riding in the event as “Team Cycle 8z.” The team is fundraising on their team RaceRoster.com page for additional donations to benefit the Greenhouse Scholars.

The Venus de Miles event is unique non competitive bike ride geared for women, which started in 2008. The 2015 Venus de Miles event starts from the Prospect New Town neighborhood in Longmont, Colo., and provides riders with 30, 62, and 100 mile route options.
