Pooh & The Inspirations Signs to Veca New Media

TAMPA, Fla. - Aug. 27, 2015 - PRLog -- Tampa, FL - Christian label Veca Records also known as Veca New Media led by CEO Creed Warner, is adding a new sound of black Gospel talent to its primarily blue-grass, contemporary Christian roster. The label just revealed that it has signed Stellar Award nominated, 2014 Chosen Voice Award Winners, Pooh & The Inspirations for an upcoming release.

Though the details of the agreement have not been disclosed, it has been confirmed that quartet is scheduled to release a single before years end.  Neither an album title nor a track listing has been revealed thus far, but some of the best songwriters in Nashville have been tapped to contribute to the new project.

Prior to signing with Veca, Pooh & The Inspirations formerly known as Pooh and the Young Inspirations, was signed to Ophir Records, the home of legendary acts such as Doc McKenzie and Evelyn Turrentine - Agee. The group released two stand out albums, “It’s About Time” and “Say the Word”. Both albums charted top 20 on Billboard Music Charts, earning the group multiple music nominations and awards. The group was also featured on the “Quartet Blockbuster Vol. 1”.
