Independent Bay Area rapper, Andre Nickatina, announces a NEW SOLO ALBUM and invites backers to be a part of the process.

Born and raised in the Fillmore District of San Francisco, Andre Nickatina has been a Hip-Hop/Rap luminary since the release of his first album. Andre Nickatina continues to sustain a loyal fan-base, while engaging new supporters throughout North America. Nickatina’s classic stage show combined with his rare interviews, maintains his mystery and unique musicianship that has spanned two decades.  Fans and supporters have always asked for a sneak peek into Nickatina’s creative process. He has always just made albums and delivered them. This time he’s taking a new approach. Andre Nickatina is opening up his next project to make it a collaboration with you, the fans.

For the last few years, Nickatina has been doing features and collaborations and it’s now time for a brand new solo album. He will be working with the producer/engineer that worked with him on his first 2 Dre Dog albums.  The same producer who made the beats for the tracks "Killa Whale", "Situation Critical", and "Smoke Dope and Rap".

This isn’t just about financing a new album. This Kickstarter campaign is about recognizing and involving Andre Nickatina’s most loyal supporters. Nickatina is inviting you into his career and into his life to push the vision of the music together.  When the goal is met, the money will be used to help pay for studio time, recording, mixing, mastering, and marketing. It will go towards design, packaging, distribution, and promotion… and let’s not forget music videos. When the goal is exceeded, the vision just keeps getting bigger. He will add more tour cities and special guests to the headliner shows.

Nickatina is also offering a warehouse full of collectibles, memorabilia, and merchandise. He is including one-of-a-kind items that will only be available on Kickstarter, special pieces out of his own closet, handwritten verses, lyric books, and artwork.
