Character Actress, Brittani Ebert Lands Role on Emmy/Golden Globe Winning Modern Family

Ebert lands another memorable role on another hit television show

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Sept. 3, 2015 - PRLog -- Chicago turned Los Angeles based actress Brittani Ebert lands role opposite leads in the ABC hit Modern Family.  Season 7, Episode 2: The Day Alex Left for College is directed by Jeffrey Walker.  Walker has won a 2014 Online Film & Television Award for Best Direction in a Comedy Series for Modern Family, and has won four Australian Directors Guild Award for Best Direction, and two Australian Film Institute Awards.

Modern Family, follows three different, but related families who face trials and tribulations in their own uniquely comedic ways.  Ebert, in the role of Debbie, an “Aggressive Soccer Mom” stars opposite Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Mitchell Pritchett) , Eric Stonestreet, (Cameron Tucker) and their on screen daughter Aubrey Anderson-Emmons (Lily Tucker-Pritchett).  Eric won two Primetime Emmy Awards, and both men have each won four Screen Actors Guild Awards while Aubrey has won three.

Ebert goes on to say “This is so surreal, I’m still in shock!  One minute I still can’t believe I’m gonna be on Modern Family, and the next minute I’m screaming in the car, because I am!”  Ebert also received rave reviews on set.  "She's really funny!" - Christopher Lloyd (Creator, Writer), "Do you do stunts?  You're really great at physical comedy!" - Jimmy Sharp (Stunt Coordinator), "I'm going to give you a hug you were so great!" - Danny Zucker (Exec. Producer, Writer)  and "Great work, kid!" - Ed O'Neill ].  “That was my favorite one, from Ed; I was on Cloud 9!”  Ebert smiles.

Ebert, this year starred opposite Jane in the new CW hit, Jane the Virgin.  Other credits include Criminal Minds and Ebert recurs as another Debbie, “The Waitress” on General Hospital.

Ebert’s episode “The Day Alex Left for College” airs Wednesday, September 30th 9/8C on ABC.
