Window-Fix, Inc. Opens Amazing New Showroom

BROOKLYN, N.Y. - Sept. 16, 2015 - PRLog -- Window-Fix, Inc., a leader in windows, doors, glass and retractable screens in the tri-state area, has opened a hands-on showroom at its Brooklyn, NY location. The showroom is open 8am-5pm Monday through Friday and on Saturday by appointment.

The showroom boasts over 2700 square feet of amazing products that can be viewed and experienced by homeowners, building managers, interior designers, architects, historical preservation experts, contractors, engineers and more. The showroom, a first of its kind in the entire tri-state area, is in partnership with Marvin Windows and Doors and includes a variety of exclusive Marvin products, including the Marvin Bi Fold Door, Marvin Clad Ultimate Vented Picture Window, the Marvin Clad Ultimate French Door and a wide variety of other Marvin products set into a brownstone wall.

Other products in the showroom include Crystal Aluminum windows, Phantom Retractable Screens, Aracadia Architectural Products, Kensington High Performance Windows and Doors, roll-down shutters, all-wood windows and much, much more.

"We designed the show room not only to display unique products we sell, but to show our product mix, versatility, and to provide an environment for all our clients to learn," said Window-Fix, Inc. President Ernie Cappello. "We will be hosting several events, such as an AIA Continuing Ed course for architects, Passive House Training, Installation Masters Training, product trainings for each of our vendors and so on right here in the showroom."

"Together with Ron Eng of Formactiv Architecture we designed a space that displays real world installations. We have Marvin wood windows set into a brownstone wall, a steel replica set into a stucco exterior wall, vinyl windows set into a cedar wood exterior cladded wall, and aluminum windows set into exterior brick walls," Cappello added. "There is nothing else like it. Professionals and homeowners can experience these products in real world application."

One of the most amazing features of the Window-Fix, Inc. showroom is the front window, which is 20’ wide x 7’ tall and is a triple pane Passive House Certified window. Window-Fix, Inc. is a leader in distributing and installing Passive House technology and this window not only protects the showroom from cold and heat, it also blocks out a lot of the sound from the highway.
