The Center for Contemporary Art to host the Fall Fundraiser “Spirits in the Night"

BEDMINSTER, N.J. - Sept. 8, 2015 - PRLog -- The Center for Contemporary Art will host its fall fundraiser, “Spirits in the Night,” on Friday, October 23, 2015.  “Spirits in the Night” is a walk-around tasting of New Jersey distilled spirits and craft beers in the unique setting of fine art galleries and professional art studios. Guests will also enjoy the live bluegrass sounds of “Hub Hollow.”

This exclusive craft beer and distilled spirits tasting will showcase the best breweries and distilleries the Garden State has to offer. Participating breweries and distilleries include: Claremont Distilled Spirits, Cooper River Distillers, Jersey Artisan Distilling, Laird and Co., Lazy Eye Distillery, 902 Brewing Company, Beach Haus Brewery, Climax Brewing, Cricket Hill Brewery, Flying Fish Brewing Co., Magnify Brewing Co., River Horse Brewery, The Ship Inn, and Two Ton Brewing. Guests will have the chance to learn about what makes each craft beer and distilled spirit special.

“Hub Hollow” blends acoustic rock, bluegrass and old-time music with original material and has performed at national music festivals including Telluride and Grey Fox. The fact that members of Hub Hollow have been playing together for almost 20 years is reflected in their beautifully blended vocals and intricate melodies.

Tickets for “Spirits in the Night” are on sale now and start at $45 in advance ($55 at the door). The price of admission includes a sampling from each featured brewery and distiller; hors d’oeuvres; live music from “Hub Hollow”; door prizes featuring gift items donated by many local businesses; a silent auction, raffle and more. Designated driver tickets can be purchased for $25 and will not be served alcohol. The event will be held from 7-10 p.m. at The Center’s location at 2020 Burnt Mills Road in Bedminster.

Sponsors and guests are invited from 6-7 p.m. to a special "Early Access" event which includes special farm-to-table hors d'oeuvres from BEX Kitchen of Califon and a custom signature cocktail by Jersey Artisan Distilling and Blue J Syrups. Tickets for the “Early Access Party” are $150 in advance ($175 at the door) and include admission to the full event.Event tickets may be purchased in person at The Center or online at www.ccabedminster.org.

Funds raised at this event will support all aspects of The Center’s operations and educational programs including art exhibitions, youth art programs, and outreach for children with special needs, adults with disabilities, and people affected by cancer.
