By: Westchester Health Associates With a dedication to all things sports, Dr. Gott decided to showcase his orthopedic and sports medicine expertise to Fantasy Football fans through videos. Each week via these videos he will give his professional opinion drawn from third-party, independent, published medical literature on a key player’s significant injury. While Dr. Gott will not be physically examining any player, he will be using each video as a platform to explain the injury. Participants can use the information he provides to select, cut or continue with their current Fantasy Football selections. Each video will be about 5 minutes in length and can be viewed on the Westchester Health Orthopedic and Sports Medicine website or its YouTube channel. Dr. Gott completed his Sports Medicine Fellowship at the prestigious American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama, where he worked under the renowned orthopedists Dr. James Andrews, Dr. Lyle Cain and Dr. Jeff Dugas. Currently the team physician for Yorktown High School Athletics, Dr. Gott has a passion for working with amateur and collegiate athletes. He previously worked as a team physician for Troy University, University of Alabama and Auburn University. The first video is on Victor Cruz, the New York Giants wide receiver who has been recovering from patella injury sustained during the 2014 season. The video can be seen here.
