Texas Brewery Supply Company and Local Brewery Combine Quality Ingredients and Brewing for a Local FoundationBrewery Direct and Southerleigh Fine Food and Brewery are collaborating on quality ingredients and exceptional brewing techniques to create a new craft beer to benefit a San Antonio foundation.
By: Brewery Direct Project Angel Fares (www.projectangelfares.com) is a non-profit organization formed in 2011 with the goal of "Providing Special Friends With Special Dreams." This foundation benefits the special needs community by providing families outside of San Antonio, TX who cannot afford to travel the opportunity to visit Alamo City and Morgan's Wonderland. Project Angel Fares pays for all travel expenses to and from San Antonio, TX. After six months of operations, Brewery Direct’s success has catapulted from providing quality ingredients to San Antonio breweries to supplying breweries across Texas. With this success and a strong relationship with Southerleigh Brewery (Southerleigh was Brewery Direct’s first client), the two organizations decided to combine their resources to create a great craft beer for an amazing cause. Orange Crème Angel Ale will be distributed across San Antonio, TX and neighboring cities. The tapping of Orange Crème Angel Ale will coincide with Project Angel Fares’ 2nd Annual Tap-Tober 5K Beer Run and Walk (www.tap-tober5kbeerrun.com) on Saturday, October 17th. This event is the official kick-start to the San Antonio Beer Festival later in the afternoon. Brewery Direct is also the Title Sponsor for Tap-Tober 5K Beer Run and Walk.
