Badger Sheet Metal Works Provides 360-Foot Grill for Record Brat

GREEN BAY, Wis. - Sept. 15, 2015 - PRLog -- An unofficial world record 120-yard bratwurst sizzled in the Lambeau Field parking lot Sunday (September 13, 2015), thanks to a 360-foot grill manufactured by the sheet metal fabricators at Badger Sheet Metal Works.

Johnsonville Sausage and Delaware North, which caters the food at the Green Bay Packers’ iconic stadium, used 225 pounds of meat, 225 bags of charcoal and a roster of volunteers to cook up the giant brat.

“This was a great way for our company to give back to local charities and participate in a fun community event,” said Sam Thomas, Vice President of Operations at Badger Sheet Metal Works. “Although a 360-foot grill isn’t exactly an item with practical applications outside of this event, we’re proud to have the ability to fabricate such a product.”

Organizers said the big brat would stand as an unofficial record because the Guinness Book of World Records does not sanction records for specific types of sausage. The official record for longest sausage is 39 miles.
