Festival goers will learn about the benefits of local, sustainably grown, and produced food by: · Eating delicious food (sushi, popsicles, kefir, honey, cookies, olive oil, falafel) and beverages (tea, mead) made by local artisans · Participating in fun hands-on cooking workshops (Kosher cheese with Louella Hill (http://www.sfmilkmaid.com/) · Meeting top local chefs, food experts, caterers, (Calafia’s Charlie Ayers (http://www.momentmag.com/ The culminating will be a cooking demonstration, tasting and book signing with Calafia Café’s chef Charlie Ayers, author of Food 2.0: Secrets from the Chef Who Fed Google.
