NavPros Now Offers TRID Support Services


CLEARWATER, FL September 21, 2015 - Navigator Lending Solutions, Inc. (NavPros) has added new services to assist lenders with the TRID regulations that become effective October 3, 2015, requiring the preparation and delivery of the Loan Estimate (LE) and Closing Disclosure (CD).  Support for the LE, which replaces the Good Faith Estimate (GFE) and Truth In Lending Disclosure (TIL) for most transactions will be made available with NavPros processing services.  NavPros will include the initial LE preparation within the bundled process services offering.  Subsequent disclosures will be made as necessary based on fee, program and loan amount changes.  Disclosure history logs are maintained which show loan changes and disclosure or re-disclosure as file data changes are documented.

According to NavPros Operations Manager Christopher Leppert, the company has invested substantial resources to configure systems and train staff to support the new guidelines.  Workflow has been modified to support mail-out and electronic delivery options.

To support Lenders, NavPros workflow will be offered with two CD service options:

·       NavPros prepares and delivers CD

·       NavPros reviews and delivers CD prepared by Lender

·       NavPros review and validates CD prepared and delivered by Lender

Christopher Leppert commented “Lenders that elect to use NavPros e-delivery services for the CD disclosure process will typically shave two to three days off the time to close.  And, by supporting the document preparation and technology as a bundled service lenders do not have to invest in complex systems and training their staff.”

By fourth quarter NavPros will release their next generation customer portal.  This web portal will allow Lenders, Settlement Agents and Applicants to efficiently collaborate online, streamlining the closing process.  Lender fees will be provided to the settlement agents and with the two-way integration settlement agents will be able to validate and update if necessary closing, recording and other non-lender fees.

With NavPros integrated business logic files are queued for automated workflow based on the timing and delivery method of disclosures.  All files are subject to audits prior to closing to review TRID disclosures for accuracy and timely delivery.
