Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Receives Support From Sunrise ChevroletThe Dealership in Glendale Heights raises money for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk this October.
For several years Sunrise Chevrolet has been taking part in this event in order to help raise money and awareness about a disease that affects millions of women every year. This year, their goal is to raise at least $5000 for the event. Community members interested in giving what they can and joining the Sunrise Chevrolet team can do so at the Sunrise Chevrolet team page, which allows individuals to register and donate via credit card online. Those unable to donate at this time are still welcome to join the team in order to help gain a critical mass of individuals to raise awareness in the community. The American Cancer Society remains a national leader in helping to continue the fight against breast cancer. Every year, they provide support to hundreds of thousands of women in the form of free information, mammograms, groundbreaking breast cancer research, and support to the 2.5 million breast cancer survivors in this country. In fact, fifty percent of the women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer reach out to the American Cancer Society for important support and care during their time of need. This year, the organizers of the walk are expecting a large turnout, so they are encouraging people taking part in the event to park offsite at the DuPage County Courthouse parking lots, where there will be a shuttle bus to take people back and forth from the event. Any questions about the Making Strides for Breast Cancer Walk and joining the Sunrise Chevrolet team may be directed to the dealership. Contact Sunrise Chevrolet or stop by 414 E.
