4th Annual Happy Camper Fest Spotlights Richmond Animal League

RICHMOND, Va. - Sept. 22, 2015 - PRLog -- Happy Camper Productions, a Richmond-based event planning and event marketing company, is proud to celebrate the great local causes of the area with its fourth Happy Camper Fest, to be held Sunday, October 18th from 12:00 - 5:30pm on the grounds of Center of the Universe Brewing Company in Ashland.

Through a partnership with Center of the Universe Brewing Company in Ashland, Happy Camper Fest will provide a day of fun that is free for everyone. This family friendly event focuses on bringing the community together to highlight and support local non-profit programs, as well as local musicians, makers, and small businesses. Several of the area’s favorite food trucks will be on site as well, ensuring a fun filled day with great food to accompany the flavorful drinks from Center of the Universe Brewing Company.

Each year, Happy Camper Fest spotlights a local cause to increase awareness and raise funds in support of that cause’s highest priorities. This year, Happy Camper Fest’s selected cause is the Richmond Animal League. The Richmond Animal League (RAL) is the area’s oldest non-profit “no-kill” organization committed to reducing the homeless pet population in the Richmond area. Founded in 1979, RAL provides temporary housing, medical treatment, sterilization, and quality care to over 1,700 companion animals each year until they are adopted into permanent and loving homes.
