We caught up with Cheryl after the Award Show to hear from her and how she felt after receiving her honor. How did you feel when you found out you had won the What A Fan Awards for your years of devotion to a sport and team you love? Cheryl: I was shocked, honestly. How do you choose one, just one, fan from a category that praises someone for their efforts in the community. To be named "outstanding" You're now part of the historic foundation of the worlds only recognition award show for sports fans. What does that mean to you? Cheryl: The world. You know when you start out onto the crazy path of a fanatical fan it's not exactly lit or equipped with instructions. Each fan is so uniquely different and yet we're all laced with the same exact passion. It's above an honor to be recognized not only by the "outsiders" but by those you consider peers.
