Tempe, AZ - August 12, 2015 - GO*VETS Foundation is proud to announce a new partnership with Rx HelpDesk, administrator of a leading prescription discount card program. In an effort to help individuals and families afford their prescription drugs, this partnership is a timely move to help a lot of people.

As a new sponsor for GO*VETS, Rx HelpDesk will be making donations to the Foundation every time someone saves using the prescription discount card benefitting GO*VETS. Rx HelpDesk has also created a simple custom text platform so anyone can download a card to their mobile device.

The free prescription discount card, administered by Rx HelpDesk, is accepted at 62,000 participating pharmacies nationwide (including CVS, Walmart and Walgreens) and reduces the price of brand name and generic prescriptions by as much as 75 percent.

GO*VETS Foundation works closely with corporate sponsors to provide needed resources for veterans in the areas of job creation, and better health and wellness programs through partnerships like the one with Rx HelpDesk.

The card can be used by people with insurance—to fill in gaps of prescription coverage—or by those without insurance, to give them buying power at the pharmacy. Heart, thyroid, diabetes, asthma, migraine and other commonly prescribed medications may be discounted.
