Participants will be able to sample tinctures and participate in a question and answer session. “We are delighted to offer another in a series of community-oriented workshops designed to inspire harmony with nature,” said MA Center Director, Brahmachari Shantamrita Chaitanya, “and we are very pleased to have attracted nationally recognized herbal experts from Horizon Herbs to lead this one-of-a-kind session. The workshop has been structured to help participants unlock the healing power of commonly available herbs with preparation methods that can be tried at home.” “Herbal remedies have been relied upon for centuries,” continued Br. Shantamrita, “and this workshop, which will include information about Tulsi, or Holy Basil, and Echinacea tinctures, is timed perfectly to coincide with the onset of cold weather, when people are looking to boost their systems and stay healthy.” The registration fee for the full day hands-on workshop is $45 per participant, which includes lunch and refreshments.
