All Five NJ Distilleries are on board for The Center for Contemporary Art’s fundraiser, “Spirits

BEDMINSTER, N.J. - Oct. 6, 2015 - PRLog -- The Center for Contemporary Art will host its fall fundraiser, “Spirits in the Night,” on Friday, October 23, 2015.  “Spirits in the Night” is a walk-around tasting of New Jersey distilled spirits and craft beers in the unique setting of fine art galleries and professional art studios. Guests will enjoy sampling the best breweries and distillers the Garden State has to offer while listening to the popular bluegrass sounds of local band “Hub Hollow.”

All five of New Jersey’s distilleries will be represented, including Claremont Distilled Spirits, the state’s largest craft distillery founded by Tim Koether of Bernardsville.

The lineup also includes Cooper River Distillers, Jersey Artisan Distilling, Laird and Co., and Lazy Eye Distillery. Participating craft breweries include 902 Brewing Company, Beach Haus Brewery, Climax Brewing, Cricket Hill Brewery, Flying Fish Brewing Co., Magnify Brewing Co., River Horse Brewery, The Ship Inn, and Two Ton Brewing. Guests will have the chance to learn about what makes each craft beer and distilled spirit distinct to New Jersey.

The tasting will be accompanied by bar-style hors d’oeuvres from Rolf’s Restaurant and Pub, The Hotel Somerset-Bridgewater and the Philly Pretzel Factory. A specialty dessert table will be provided by Seasons 52 of Bridgewater.

“Spirits in the Night” will be held from 7-10 p.m. at The Center’s location at 2020 Burnt Mills Road in Bedminster. Tickets are on sale now and start at $45 in advance ($55 at the door). The price of admission includes a sampling from each featured brewery and distiller; hors d’oeuvres; live music from “Hub Hollow”; a silent auction, ceramic mug and shot glass sale, raffle and more. Designated driver tickets can be purchased for $25.

Sponsors and guests are invited to an exclusive "Early Access" event from 6-7 p.m. which includes special farm-to-table hors d'oeuvres from BEX Kitchen of Califon and a custom signature cocktail by Jersey Artisan Distilling and Blue J Syrups. Tickets for the “Early Access Party” are $150 in advance ($175 at the door) and include admission to the full event.
