The claim specifically alleges that the investors were unsuitably invested in a high-risk non-traded REIT called Behringer Harvard and that FSC Securities only selected the investment because of the commissions generated as a result of the recommendation. The claim further alleges that FSC Securities failed to perform the proper due diligence on the investment prior to offering it for sale to its clients. Hartman (CRD #1361232). According to his FINRA BrokerCheck, Mr. Hartman has been the subject of at least 10 customer complaints.
