Fan Fiction DJs set to release new record in November 2015

After uprooting from his native Brooklyn and moving to Los Angeles, Fan Fiction finally has a new home and a new sound. Discothèque is the pinnacle release for this high point in the development of his sound. Filled with lush strings, funky horns, classic house pianos, and glittery disco vocals and effects, Discothèque breathes fresh life into the disco sound for one more spin on the dance floor. Fan Fiction is the culmination of one DJ’s lifetime journey through club music. As a New York club DJ turned electronic producer, DJ Vibe has lived through all the musical trends of the last twenty years. From his early days playing Hip Hop and Old School House in nightclubs, to his travels around the world playing big room anthems, DJ Vibe has always been seeking the genuine club sound. This illusive search created a burning desire to produce his own music. The result is Fan Fiction, the product of a life long love of music finally writing a story of its own. The music is inspired by the very sounds he experienced as a DJ in clubs throughout North America, Europe and Asia. Always influenced by the classic Chicago House sound of Fingers, Inc., Marshall Jefferson, and Paul Johnson from the 1980s and 1990s, Fan Fiction’s music is extremely personal and this is what makes it so special.
