Local Business Celebrates New Office, Announces Partnership with National Breast Cancer Foundation

LOS ANGELES - Oct. 8, 2015 - PRLog -- Los Angeles’ 9^th District Councilman Curren Price, along with hundreds of local residents and special guests, welcomed LRS Plumbing to the neighborhood during a Grand Opening and Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony on Saturday October 3, 2015, at LRS Plumbing’s new offices located at 5514 S. Normandie Ave, Los Angeles, CA. Also on hand for the grand opening were members of LAFD station 66.

The festive day began with guests arriving on the “pink” carpet to a ceremonial invitation only breakfast. During the ceremony the accomplishments of the LRS Plumbing team were highlighted. Also spotlighted were LRS plumbers and their supporter’s charity work during their “Season of Giving” project held earlier this year.

"Our Grand Opening was a huge success!  Family, friends and the vendor participation helped to make it rewarding,” says LRS Plumbing General Manager Leonard Redway.

The day also served as a platform to announce LRS Plumbing’s recent partnership with the National Breast Cancer Foundation. The company will donate a portion of all revenue generated throughout the month of October to the NBCF. To demonstrate their commitment and support to Breast Cancer Awareness, the LRS Plumbing team will wear “pink” work shirts throughout the month.

Owen Redway, LRS Plumbing’s Field Supervisor expressed, “The donations received for Breast Cancer Awareness month made the kickoff of our campaign very hopeful.  We're proud to be a part of the fundraising effort and hope to raise even more during the month of October".

During the event, Councilman Curren Price presented a Certificate of Recognition, offered a few remarks and assisted in the ribbon-cutting. Other supporters included the WATTS Coffee House, True Restoration, Tara Hill of Kaiser Permanente, and Andrew Escobar of radio station 94.7 THE WAVE.
