By: Horn PR Kerwin Thompson is a multi-faceted performer who has quickly become an Atlanta favorite in its thriving, theatre community. He is driven to use his talent not just to entertain but to touch the souls of audience members. Thompson was trained by the Freddie Hendricks Youth Ensemble of Atlanta (YEA) and the Alliance Theater. He has recently been featured in Mama Bear by Sharon Harris Warrick, Colored Lodging by Bill Harris (Atlanta Black Theatre Festival), The Passing of Fatha Thyme by Roz Ayres-Williams (Atlanta Black Theatre Festival), A Piece of My Mind! by Ron McIntyre, and On a Clear Day At the Carwash by Mia Kristin Smith (Ft. Wayne, IN Fringe Festival). “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to portray such a complex character, whose troubles, faults, and vices speak to the universal truths of the human condition.” Brothers of Affliction runs November 5-22, 2015, and is presented by Rising Sage Theatre.
