Natural Grocers to open relocated East Denver store on Nov. 12

DENVER - Oct. 14, 2015 - PRLog -- Natural Grocers (http://www.naturalgrocers.com/) will open its relocated East Denver store on Thursday, Nov. 12. The new store, which opens at 8 a.m., is located at 4500 E. Alameda Ave. The original store, located at 5231 Leetsdale Drive, will close on Nov. 11.

As part the of the Nov. 12 relocation grand opening, #NaturalGrocersEastDenverwill have a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 7:55 a.m. and will then distribute mystery gift cards to the first 60 customers in line for the opening. Gift cards will be in the amount of $5, $10, $25, $50 and $100. Customers won’t know the amount of their gift card until they check out.

Grand Opening Celebration

The opening of the new East Denver store begins with a live musical performance by the band Klezmer V’Od from 7:30 a.m. – 10 a.m., and a performance by Grammy nominee DJ Cavem and Alkemia Earth from 2 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. These arefollowed by a series of free, grand opening celebrations, including food tastings, cooking demonstrations and nutrition classes with nutrition experts. All activities will take place from noon to 4 p.m. on the following dates:

·       Saturday, Nov. 14: Paleo Fair

·       Saturday, Nov. 21: Gluten-Free Holiday Fair

·       Saturday, Dec. 5: A Taste of Winter

·       Saturday, Dec. 12: Taste the Difference Food Standards Make

The new store will add approximately 2,000 square feet of space compared to the original store, providing more product offerings and a new Demonstration Kitchen/Community Room that will be used to host educational seminars and cooking demonstrations. Additionally, the store will feature art murals on the walls that emphasize the company’s Five Founding Principles and high quality standards.

Natural Grocers will continue to offer fresh produce that is exclusively USDA Certified Organic, as well as other healthy, affordable, organic and natural products. The store will feature a mix of national brands and locally grown, raised and manufactured products from Colorado in a small, neighborhood market environment. The new East Denver store will also feature a Nutritional Health Coach and offer free nutrition education classes to the public. Natural Grocers East Denver will be open 7 days a week.
