The Twisted Tail holds fundraiser for stroke patient and bassist, Gary Balduzzi

PHILADELPHIA - Oct. 23, 2015 - PRLog -- The Twisted Tail Bourbon House and Juke Joint in Society Hill, a lively restaurant and music venue that boasts over 120 different whiskies on their menu, is sponsoring a fundraiser for stroke patient and fellow musician, Gary Balduzzi of King of Prussia.

On May 9th, 2015, Balduzzi woke up, went to get out of bed, and realized he couldn’t move.  His younger brother, Steven, found him helpless on the floor of his bedroom, unable to move or speak.

The result - Balduzzi had a stroke on the left side of his brain; causing paralysis on his entire right side of his body and impacted his ability to speak.  For an independent, strong minded and physical man, as well a lifetime bass player, it totally rocked his world.

Balduzzi is also a professional audio engineer and stage hand for the Walnut Street Theatre and some of the finest theaters and music venues in Center City and surrounding  tri-state area of Philadelphia.

He has already started his many months of physical therapy to regain the use of his leg, arm, hand and face. We both know that it will be a long recovery, but we are both determined to do what is necessary to get him back playing his bass, returning to the Walnut  Street Theatre, and being the funny, loving, and giving man he has always been.

Come join a packed house on Sunday, from 1pm - 5pm, and show your support with a small $5.00 donation at the door. Door prizes, two 50/50 Raffles, and two Ticket Auctions will contribute to the lively, music filled afternoon. 100% of the proceeds from this event will go to Gary Balduzzi!
